It all started during the pandemic when I was working on a nostalgic arcade review show called D.B.'s Arcade. One of the first episodes I made was about Contra, and after showing it to my buddy Joe, he immediately said his brother-in-law Ted—who’s a massive Contra fan—had to see it. Ted loved it, we got to talking, hit it off, and before long we were producing episodes together and bonding over all things retro.

From there, we figured, why not start a video podcast? Not just about arcade games, but about anything we feel like—nostalgia, pop culture, weird news, or whatever random thing pops into our heads. Honestly, we don’t plan it out too much. We just turn on the mics and see what happens. Sometimes we forget what we were talking about mid-sentence... and that’s kinda the beauty of it. You never know what to expect, and neither do we.
